the authors of these stories say that war isnt glorius and at the end kills everybody in it, emotionaly, phisically or mentally.

The authors of these short stories believe war is bad because death could be avoided.

I'm not sure that makes sense.

Do you mean, death is avoidable in war? Because, usually, death is very much a part of war. Always. And people expect it to be.
